IND VS ENG Fifth Test: Team India crosses 220 runs, Pant-Jadeja handles India's innings, Kohli Out After Scoring 11 Runs

The last match of the five-Test series between India and England is being played at the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and decided to bowl first. Team India has got initial setbacks in the match. As of now, the third session is going on and the score of Team India is 224/5. Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja are at the crease. Both of them have a century partnership for the sixth wicket.

Pujara, Gill, Kohli, Iyer, and Hanuma Vihari none did well with the bat. However, after his dismissal, Jadeja and Pant have taken over the innings. There was a partnership of 52 runs in 61 balls between the two.

Former India captain Virat Kohli's poor form continues. In the first innings of the fifth Test against England, only 11 runs came off 19 balls from Virat's bat. He was bowled by Matthew Potts. Virat wanted to release the ball going outside the off-stump, but the ball took the edge of the bat and hit the wicket. His fans are still waiting for Kohli's 71st century. He scored his last century on 23 November 2019.

Shreyas Iyer also could not do anything special in the match. He made 15 runs in 11 balls and was caught by Sam Billings on Anderson's bouncing ball.

Hanuma Vihari could not understand the ball coming in from Matthew Potts and was out LBW. Potts bowls a back-off length ball which comes quickly to the inside. The ball hit the pad and the umpire raised a finger. Hanuma scored 20 runs in the match.

Cheteshwar Pujara, who came in to open batting in place of Rohit Sharma, was dismissed by Anderson after playing 46 balls. Pujara wanted to hit the ball going outside the off-stump and was caught. Anderson has sent both the openers to the pavilion. Anderson has dismissed Pujara five times in this series.
