Income Tax Department (IT) officials are conducting searches at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) office. The news agency reported that IT officials are conducting searches at the BBC's offices in Delhi and Mumbai. Officers arrived at the BBC office on Tuesday morning and got the staff's phones switched off. No official statement has been issued by the BBC yet. The Congress has termed the search at the BBC office as an undeclared emergency. A tweet has been made from the official Twitter handle of the Congress party.
