In J&K's ongoing Kishtwar, one soldier killed, two were injured in an encounter with terrorists
A soldier was killed on Thursday and two others injured in a continuing gunfight between joint security personnel and terrorists in the Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir.

J&K's ongoing Kishtwar: A soldier was killed on Thursday and two others injured in a continuing gunfight between joint security personnel and terrorists in the Kishtwar area of Jammu and Kashmir.
The soldier killed has been identified as Sepoy Gaykar Sandip Pandurang, who was martyred during the operation in contiguous Singhpora Chatroo region of Kishtwar district. He hails from Karandi village, Akole tehsil, and Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.

“The injured soldiers have been taken to hospital. The encounter is still ongoing," the official confirmed.
After solid intelligence suggested the presence of three to four terrorists in the area.
Security forces began a Cordon After Solid intelligence suggested police on Friday, 2 Para operational plan, 11 Rashtriya Rifles, 7 Assam Rifles, and the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police commenced a joint operational plan against the terrorists likley affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).
Reports of two terrorists being killed have not yet been confirmed.

The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps, referring to the operation as “Op Trashi," posted an update on social media platform X: “Contact has been established with #terrorists during a joint #operation with @JmuKmrPolice at #Chhatru, #Kishtwar today morning. Additional troops have been inducted, and operations are ongoing to neutralize the terrorists."
Joint security forces have taken further action against terrorists and their overground workers (OGWs) and sympathisers across Jammu and Kashmir.
This comes in light of the actions of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists targeting civilians in Baisaran meadow, Pahalgam, on 22 April, including 25 tourists and one local.
