The sword of action is also hanging on the Additional Deputy Commissioner due to keeping the post of Licensing Inspector vacant in the ward for 10 days.

Preparations are on to take action against the officials-employees guilty in the fire that took 27 people alive in a building in West Delhi's Mundka on Friday. According to the latest information received, it is believed that 3 officers of North Delhi Municipal Corporation will be punished in the Mundka fire incident. At the same time, for the first time in 2011, action will be taken against the junior engineer responsible for illegal construction.
At the same time, information has been received that the factory was running without a license. Obviously, all this must have happened with the connivance of the local corporation officials and employees. In such a situation, they cannot escape from their responsibility. The accused will also be brought under the ambit of action.
According to sources, the Licensing Inspector and Zonal Administrative Officer of the area may come under the scanner. The Licensing Inspector Sandeep Kumar, on whom the responsibility is to be fixed, was transferred on May 4. While he was posted in the ward for almost three years.
Survey started on illegal factories After the Mundka incident, the survey of the corporation has started regarding illegal factories. However, due to the government holiday, action could not be started on a large scale. This survey will gain more emphasis on Tuesday. In the identified industrial areas, the Factory Licensing Department will investigate, while illegal factories operating in residential areas will be investigated under the supervision of the Regional Deputy Commissioner.
