Keeping in mind the interests of its students, the University has organized 'Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Internship. Let us inform that Dr. Radhakrishnan, who was the second President of India, was also the fourth Vice-Chancellor of BHU from 1939 to 1948. Under Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Internship Scheme 100 students will get a chance. Under this, the selected students will get 20 thousand rupees every month for one year.
The purpose of starting this internship is to give emphasis to the students to develop the necessary skills to get employment related to their field. Along with this, students will also be able to gain experience about related fields through this. This scheme will give an opportunity to the students to be better prepared for getting employment after completing their education in the university. According to BHU, students who have completed their degree in any discipline as well as have won gold, silver or bronze medals at national or international level can also apply for Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Internship. The selected students will be allotted work place on the basis of their educational qualification and opportunities available. The main objective of this scheme is that the students can get a basis to start their career through this. BHU Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain said that it is necessary to create new opportunities to provide better professional and practical experience to the students.
