Former PM Imran Khan also assured the court that he has a lot of respect for the judiciary and believes that the judges of the subordinate/district judiciary are doing an important job in delivering justice.

The troubles of the former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, are increasing. According to Pakistani media, a magistrate of Islamabad's Margalla police station has issued an arrest warrant against PTI chief Imran Khan. The warrant has been issued on August 20 for making comments about Additional District and Sessions Judge Jeba Choudhary.
At a rally earlier this month, Khan had threatened to register a case against police officials, the Election Commission and political opponents for the treatment of his colleague Shahzab Gill, who was arrested on sedition charges. Khan had also raised objections to Additional District and Sessions Judge Jeba Choudhary, who sent Gill to police custody for two days on the request of Islamabad Police. Khan had said about Jeba Chaudhary that he should keep himself ready as action will be taken against him. Hours after his speech, Khan was booked under the Anti-Terrorism Act for threatening the police, judiciary and other institutions in the country at his rally.
On the controversial remarks against the woman judge, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that he did not mean to threaten the woman judge and neither could he have thought of doing so. He said that he was sorry if his feelings were hurt. Former PM Imran Khan also assured the court that he has a lot of respect for the judiciary and believes that the judges of the subordinate/district judiciary are doing an important job in delivering justice.
