After the decision of the speaker, Imran Khan has expressed happiness over this. He has said that he thanks the people of the country. He has also said that this no-confidence motion was brought on the conspiracy of foreign powers. The people of Pakistan should decide who will rule the country.
The opposition had already expressed its apprehension that the same could be done by the government. Even when this proposal was brought on March 25, the opposition had expressed its apprehension about it. There is a huge uproar in the assembly after the deputy speaker's proposal was rejected. According to Jio TV, where the government had the support of 144 members, the opposition had the support of 199 seats. In view of this, the result was completely one-sided when the voting took place.
