IIT Madras Promoter Technologies ties up with Sony India to impart technical skills to students

This hackathon was also organized with the aim of extending the benefits of this hackathon to the students who have passed in 2020-21 and secured at least 60 percent marks.

IIT Madras Promoter Technologies ties up with Sony India to impart technical skills to students

IIT Madras Promoter Technologies has joined hands with Sony India Software Center to provide technical skills to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The only reason behind this is to provide technical skills to the students. For which Sony India Software Center has partnered with IIT Madras.

IIT Madras was established in 1959. It is a public technical and research university located in Chennai and is also considered the third IIT established by the Government of India.

Sony is a Japanese multinational conglomerate corporation headquartered in Minato, Tokyo. The company operates as one of the world's largest manufacturers of consumer and professional electronic products. It is also the largest video game publisher and largest music company. Sony is one of the most comprehensive media companies.

'Samvedan 2021' was a hackathon. Under this hackathon, contestants will be asked to develop solutions to social problems in India. The registration for this competition started from July 1. The special thing is that this registration is open to all Indian citizens. This course is being given free of cost to all those students. Those whose parents earn less than Rs 8 lakh annually. Sony India Finishing School Skill Development Training was assured about helping to provide training in select areas like Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Cyber ​​Security and Computer Graphics in addition to vocational communication skills mentioned in the press release.

As per the press release, the duration of this course provided was kept at more than 6 months and it was said to be conducted offline and after the completion of the course certificate was also announced. This hackathon was also organized with the aim of extending the benefits of this hackathon to the students who have passed in 2020-21 and secured at least 60 percent marks.
