IIT GATE Results 2025 Declared at gate2025.iitr.ac.in – Direct Link and Steps to download
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has finally announced the Graduate Aptitude Entrance Test (GATE) 2025 results today, March 19. All those who appeared in the exam will be able to download their results by visiting the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.

The institute conducted the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16 across 30 different test papers. The provisional answer keys for the exam were released on February 27. The candidates were allowed to challenge the final answer keys by March 1, 2025. Once the GATE 2025 results are announced, candidates can visit the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in, to check and download their scorecards.
Candidates can access their result by visiting the GOAPS portal or official GATE website by keying in their enrollment ID and password. Like every year, there will be separate ranks and scores for sectional papers — XE, XH and XL. GATE 2025 scores will remain valid for three years from the date of the announcement of results
To check the GATE 2025 results, they will have to use the enrolment ID/email address along with the password.

Open the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
Open the GOAPS 2025 applicant portal link displayed on the home page.
Enter your login credentials and submit.
Check your result carefully.
Download and save your GATE 2025 scorecard for future reference
The provisional GATE 2025 answer key was released on February 27 and the objection window closed on March 1. The final answer key is expected along with the result.

GATE 2025 scorecards will be released separately and it will be available for download from March 28 to May 31, 2025.
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam that assesses the understanding of undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities.
GATE 2025 will be a computer-based test (CBT) conducted by IIT Roorkee. It is jointly organised by IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The GATE 2025 scorecard has the candidate’s section-wise marks, overall score, and All India Rank (AIR). For Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), negative marking will apply for incorrect answers. A 1-mark MCQ will have a ⅓ mark deduction for a wrong response, while a 2-mark MCQ will result in a ⅔ mark deduction.
However, Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions will not have negative marking for incorrect responses. Additionally, partial marking does not apply to any question.
