Today, Telangana Chief Minister and TRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao attended the party's 21st foundation day celebrations at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Hyderabad. During the celebration, he said that "If the country had worked in the manner in which Telangana worked the result would have been different, this is what financial experts say."

People have to be put to power, people have to be informed, lives of the people of the country should change and the infrastructure has to be provided."
He further added, "What the country needs is not political fronts but alternative agenda. We need an agenda that takes us on the path of progress. New agricultural, industrial&economic policies are needed. Everyone should have the opportunity to work. The excellent country building must take place. People should be vigilant against "cheap politics" being played in the name of religion or caste, as progress would be hurt if the atmosphere of harmony is spoilt."
