I was embarrassed when President came to receive me, says Narendra Modi while addressing a Crowd at Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur
Narendra Modi earlier today accompanied President Ram Nath Kovind to his ancestral village, Paraunkh, in Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh.

While addressing a crowd in Kanpur Dehat, Uttar Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sang praises for President Ram Nath Kovind. The event was graced by the presence of President Ram Nath Kovind, PM Narendra Modi, and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. He said, "Today I was embarrassed when President came to receive me. We're working under him, there's a sanctity to his post but he told me that he respects Constitution but values matter & added that he had come to welcome me as a villager, not as a President."
He further added, "The dynastic parties are huddling against me... I want to tell them that I don't have any personal issues with anyone, I just want a strong opposition in the country. These parties entangled in nepotism should rise above it to strengthen democracy."
Narendra Modi earlier today accompanied President Ram Nath Kovind to his ancestral village, Paraunkh, in Kanpur Dehat district of Uttar Pradesh. Along with them, Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present with them.
President Ram Nath Kovind through a tweet wrote, "In a special gesture, President Ram Nath Kovind received Prime Minister Narendra Modi on arrival in his native village Paraunkh in Kanpur Dehat."
