Actress Dia Mirza has strongly dismissed all reports on her involvement in buying and consuming drugs.

After reports appeared on her alleged involvement in the current drug controversy, she took to her official twitter handle and wrote, “I would like to strongly refute and categorically deny this news as being false, baseless and with mala fide intentions.”

She continued, “Such frivolous reporting has a direct impact on my reputation being besmirched and is causing damage to my career which I have painstakingly built with years of hard work.

“I have never procured or consumed any narcotics or contraband substances of any form in my life. I intend to pursue the full extent of legal remedies available to me as a law-abiding citizen of India. Thanks to my supporters for standing by me,” Mirza concluded.

Various Bollywood stars are allegedly under the scanner after actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide blew a lid off illegal sale and purchase of narcotics in the film industry.

After investigating the matter, the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested actress Rhea Chakraborty for allegedly ‘financing’ drugs to Sushant Singh Rajput.

Another actress Deepika Padukone might be summoned for questioning as her manager has reportedly been asked to appear before the NCB for allegedly asking for drugs in a WhatsApp chat.
