Hyderabad University: SFI blocks controversial BBC documentary, ABVP shows 'The Kashmir Files'

The Students' Federation of India (SFI) organized a screening of the controversial BBC documentary on the 2002 Gujarat riots at the University of Hyderabad on Thursday. Meanwhile, ABVP, the student wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), screened the controversial film 'The Kashmir Files' in the university campus. The Central Government has banned the exhibition of BBC documentary 'India: The Modi Question'. Sharing pictures on social media, SFI said, “On the call of SFI, a successful screening of the documentary 'India: The Modi Question' was organized on Republic Day. More than 400 students turned up to witness it, thwarting the ABVP's attempts to spread propaganda and create unrest. ABVP students today demonstrated 'The Kashmir Files' in the university campus. Significantly, this film, written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, depicts the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir after the killings of Kashmiri Hindus by Pakistan-backed terrorists.
