Delhi's 307, Noida's 338, Greater Noida's 344, Hapur's 145, Faridabad's 294, Gurugram's 281, Agra's 237, Ballabhgarh's 186, Bhiwani's 297, and Meerut's 346 are way above the normal range.

Experts say that in the past four days air quality has deteriorated so much. It is worth mentioning that the air quality index between zero to 50 is 'good', between 51 and 100 is 'satisfactory', 101 to 200 is 'moderate', 201 to 300 is 'bad', 301 to 400 is 'very poor' and 401 to 500 is ' severe 'category. In such a situation, this data released today is worrying.
The air quality in NCR including Delhi becomes poisonous every year during the winter season. Due to stubble burning, the air turns poisonous and people face difficulty in breathing.
States like Delhi, Punjab, and Haryana indulge in a lot of politics on this issue. The Delhi government appeals every year to farmers in Haryana and Punjab to not burn stubbles.
