'How about I start my own fake news busting business?': Akshay Kumar on FAKE NEWS
In the past few weeks, the actor-producer reportedly branded not one, but two pieces of news as "fake news." Although there are no further details on the issue, the actor was compelled to call it out on his social media account as the rumour began to circulate.
Akshay Kumar is one of those celebrities who has hardly ever commented on gossips and news fabrication. In the past few weeks, the actor-producer reportedly branded not one, but two pieces of news as "fake news." While the previous report indicated that Akshay had been requested to cut his costs by Rs 30 crore by producer Vashu Bhagnani, a source of gossip yesterday claimed that he'll be collaborating with Ahan Shetty in a Sajid Nadiadwala project.
Although there are no further details on the issue, the actor was compelled to call it out on his social media account as the rumour began to circulate.
'10/10 on the FAKE NEWS scale!' How about I create my own false news debunking company?' Akshay tweeted.

Sajid Nadiadwala and Akshay Kumar are regular collaborators; Akshay has starred in numerous Nadiadwala projects, including Heyy Baby, Kambakkt Ishq, Mujhse Shaadi Krogi, and the Housefull series of films.
As per a source close to the actor, he hasn't ever reacted to any type of hearsay about himself for years. But there was enough of that, he's obviously at the limit of his patience already. This had to come to a halt, and people had to be reminded that he is not immune to rumour-mongering. There are groups of individuals who, for various reasons, have spread false information about him, whether it's about his salary, his films, or anything else. It was also widely reported that his picture 'Bell Bottom' had been sold for a direct-to-digital distribution, which was widely disputed with the announcement of a theatrical release date.'
Furthermore, Akshay Kumar posted another tweet announcing his forthcoming film Raksha Bandhan on Monday. Akshay commemorated his first day on production with this tweet, dedicating the film to his sister Alka: "Alka, my sister, was my first buddy when I was a kid. It was the most natural friendship. Raksha Bandhan by Aanand L Rai is a tribute to her and a celebration of their particular relationship" he tweeted. "Day one of the shoot today," he continued, "and I need your love and best wishes."
Growing up my sister, Alka was my first friend. It was the most effortless friendship.@aanandlrai's #RakshaBandhan is a dedication to her and a celebration of that special bond ♥️
