Jeffrey Goldberg Access to US War: A message sent through Signal totally changed everything for Jeffrey Goldberg, an Israeli-American journalist, when a connection request on March 11, from Michael Waltz, national security adviser to President Donald Trump, led him into an unexpected journey into military secrets and high-stakes strategy.

"A woman, Kamala, made the demand to the authorities to take any such required action regarding the matter," said a press release of the office of DGP, Shankar Jiwal, as cited in an ANI report.

Police said Kamala, a resident of Dhamotharamoorthy Street, Kilpauk, has made a complaint at G-3 Kilpauk Police Station that about 20 people had come inside her home at about 9:45 am on Monday, verbally abused her, and vandalized her property with sewage waste.

A PTI report said that "human faeces" were also dumped. It was reported that the event took place after certain allegations were made by Savukku Shankar on the Greater Chennai Police and the Commissioner of Police, the DGP office release said, during an interview.

Savukku Shankar is a petitioner and son of Kamala, he said the Greater Chennai Police and Commissioner of Police are handling that case badly, these two officials now requested that this case be transferred to another agency for further investigations.

Savukku Shankar also shared CCTV footage of the alleged incident.

The request was granted; the case, which was initially recorded at G-3 Kilpauk Police Station as C.S.R. No. 118/2025, was transferred to Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department (CBCID) for in-depth investigation.

Savukku Shankar is a well-known critic of the ruling DMK in this state. Strong condemnation against the incident has come from the general secretary of AIADMK, Edappadi K Palaniswami, BJP Tamil Nadu President K Annamalai, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi top leader Thol Thirumavalavan, MDMK chief Vaiko, and actor-politician Vijay-led Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam general secretary N Anand.
