Home Ministry's big action in Kanjhawala incident, policemen posted in PCR suspended
The Ministry said that at the time of the incident, the DCP of the area should clarify what are the law and order arrangements and if the answers are not satisfactory then strict action will be taken against them as well.

Ministry of Home Affairs has taken major action on Delhi Police in Kanjhawala case. Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has received a detailed report from Delhi Police in Kanjhawala incident case in which the body of a woman was dragged for several kilometers. Taking cognizance of the report The Home Ministry has suggested to the Delhi Police Commissioner to suspend and take disciplinary action against policemen posted at three PCRs and two police pickets.
Not only this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has also directed the Commissioner of Delhi Police to issue a show cause notice against the investigating officer in view of the lack of investigation. It has also ordered to take steps, so that they can be punished. There has been talk of action on the DCP from the Ministry of Home Affairs.
