Home Minister Amit Shah's rally in the state on the first anniversary of Mamta government in Bengal
BJP district president level leaders, Party MPs and MLAs will be called. Amit Shah may also hold a separate meeting with state officials.

May 5 will be the first anniversary of the third term of the Mamata Banerjee government. If all goes well, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend a political rally in the state on the same day. According to BJP sources, a public meeting will be held in Siliguri on the second day of Shah's visit. He will also attend the BJP's organizational meeting in Kolkata on May 6.
Amit Shah is scheduled to reach Kolkata on the night of May 4. He also has administrative and political programs during his three-day visit. On May 5, the Union Home Minister will attend the function of Border Security Force at Hingalganj in North 24 Parganas and Tinbigha in Cooch Behar. There will be a BJP rally in Siliguri on that day.
BJP state president Sukant Majumdar said that in the last one year, party workers and leaders have faced continuous violence. Organizational reshuffle has already taken place across the state. This time we will play the role of the main opposition party more strongly.
