High level committee will investigate the lapse in Modi's security, Home Minister Shah said - report should be submitted soon

Home Minister Amit Shah has constituted a three-member high-level committee to investigate the security breaches of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Punjab. Shah has asked the committee to submit the inquiry report at the earliest. The committee comprises Security Secretary Sudhir Kumar Saxena, SPG IG IG S Suresh and IB Joint Director Balbir Singh.

In Punjab, the matter of lapse in the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is getting hot. 27 IPS officers including 16 former DGPs of the country have written a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind demanding strict action against the culprits. The letter urges the Punjab government to take immediate action against the deliberate and planned security lapse in cooperation with the so-called protesters during the PM's visit.
