HDFC Bank warns customers of cyber fraud; Here’s the way to avoid loss of cash

To escape the Covid19 pandemic, most people are switching from cash to digitally paid online banking. Suddenly, most monetary transactions have moved to net banking, which attracted cybercriminals and triggered a wave of cyber fraud! In light of this, HDFC Bank has issued a warning to its account holders regarding the increased possibility of cyber fraud. Not only that, but HDFC Bank also provided tips on how to stay safe while banking online. are account holders who falsely disclose sensitive information about their bank accounts to strangers. Account holders should know that scammers have become more sophisticated and have learned various methods of stealing money online. The number of cybercrime cases increased 11.8% in 2020 from the previous year, according to the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
