Hate slogans raised in rally in Gurugram regarding Udaipur massacre, police registered a case
They demanded hanging of both the accused and compensation of one crore rupees to the family of Tailor Kanhaiya Lal, the police said that he himself has taken action after the video of this rally in Gurugram went viral on social media.
Haryana Police has registered a case in connection with the raising of provocative slogans against a particular community in Gurugram on Wednesday in connection with the Udaipur massacre.
The incident happened during a rally organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal to protest the murder of a Tailor Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur. This FIR has been registered under sections 116, 153A, 295A, 34, 504 of the Indian Penal Code. More than 50 people had gathered at Kamla Nehru Park in the city at around 5 pm on Wednesday and about one Marched in the city for hours. These people raised effigies of "Islamic Jihad terrorism" and raised provocative slogans against the Muslim community.
Visuals from the front of the rally showed a group of people wearing saffron and red shawls and caps. They were seen shouting very provocative slogans against Muslims while walking on a busy road. One person can be seen repeating these slogans continuously on the microphone while others are repeating them. Many women can also be seen in the video. According to local news reports, the protesters said that the video telling about the murder was a challenge to the sovereignty of the country and could not be tolerated.
Kanhaiyalal, a tailor in Udaipur, was stabbed to death by two Muslim men on Tuesday afternoon. The accused had also posted online video of the crime. Both these accused were apprehended a few hours after the incident from Bhima area of Rajsamand.
