Bomb-Making from YouTube: A group of 12th-class students of a Haryana school have been suspended after they allegedly set off a remote-controlled firecracker-like bomb under their female science teacher’s chair as a prank.
The students had learned how to make the explosive from YouTube tutorials and carried out the act which could have been dangerous.
This incident is similar to the one in Mumbai where shooters involved in Baba Siddique’s murder were found to be using mobile phones and social media platforms like Snapchat and Instagram to communicate.

“Learning how to make explosives online is not just reckless; it’s very dangerous,” said an education expert. “This could have gone wrong so easily.”
The education administration in Haryana acted quickly, suspending 13 students for a week.
DEO Naresh Mehta said, “They had learned all this from YouTube. If they had made a model and presented it we would have appreciated them but now this has been settled with a warning.”
The YouTube bomb-making craze has sparked serious concerns among parents and education officials, highlighting the potential dangers of online tutorials.
