Hardik Patel will join BJP on June 2 , recently he resigned from Congress

Hardik Patel, who comes from the Patidar community in Gujarat, will soon join the BJP. According to ANI, Hardik Patel will join the BJP on June 2. 

Hardik had also indicated last week to contest the Gujarat Assembly elections on a BJP ticket. Hardik had resigned as the working president as well as the primary member of the Congress party on May 18 itself. After resigning from the Congress, he had said, 'I courageously resign from the post of the Congress Party and the primary membership of the party. I am sure that my decision will be welcomed by all my colleagues and the people of Gujarat.

Hardik Patel is continuously attacking the party after leaving the Congress. He had raised questions on the policies of the party by writing a letter to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. Hardik had said that the Congress has been limited to the politics of opposition to the Centre. Beyond this she has no policy nor does she want to do anything. Hardik had alleged that the party is not worried about the people of Gujarat and their issues. The party leaders themselves are doing the work to dilute the issues.

Hardik Patel was angry with the Congress for a long time. Hardik had told the reason for his displeasure to the Congress high command, but still it was ignored. Hardik had even removed his name from the post of Congress and Working President from the Twitter handle.
