Civil Court in Varanasi issued orders to seal premises after a shivling found inside a well in Gyanvapi Mosque during survey today.

In the Gyanvapi Masjid survey case, a court in Uttar Pradesh has ordered the sealing of the pond in the Gyanvapi Masjid premises, where the "Shivling" was found. According to the information, during the Gyanvapi Masjid survey, in the upper part of the mosque where Namaz is offered, there is a place to perform Wudu near it. For which a small pond has been made. There is talk of getting a Shivling in this pond. After getting the Shivling, the Hindu side had reached the district court, where it was said to be preserved. The Benaras Court has ordered that the place where the Shivling was found should be sealed. The court has given this order to the Varanasi district administration. The court has banned the movement of anyone to the place where Shivling is found.

Hindu petitioner's lawyer Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi said that we had lodged an objection only yesterday. We wanted to see the water for eating Vaju dried up. Today we saw with our own eyes that there is a Shivling. We have not made any contempt by speaking this thing outside or going to court. We even demanded in the court that that pond should be sealed. We felt that someone might be tampering. What we did was done through the court. The Muslim side is free to go to court.

On the other hand, the Muslim side's lawyer Alok Nath Yadav, while talking to the press, said that "I have yet to read the copy of the order. We will move the court to quash the order to seal the pond. We will take all legal remedies."

The hearing of the petition of the Masjid Committee against the survey in Gyanvapi Masjid is also to be held in the Supreme Court tomorrow. A bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice PS Narasimha will hear this petition. In the Gyanvapi dispute case, the petitioner Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee has demanded a ban on the survey in Gyanvapi.
