The government of Gujarat will soon start the process of recruiting 27, 847 police personnel, including sub-inspectors and home guards, said an official. The recruitment process for police was waiting for some time due to the COVID outbreak. Recruitment will be held for armed and unarmed PSI, assistant sub-inspectors, intelligence officers, PSIs for wireless and motor transport divisions.
Gujarat Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi had held a review meeting with the chairpersons of various police recruitment boards and instructed them to complete the process at the earliest.
