Gujarat Election 2022: PM Modi will hold a roadshow in Ahmedabad today
According to the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Gujarat, polling will be held between 8 am and 5 pm today at 14,382 polling stations. Out of the 89 seats where polling is being held in the first phase, 48 were won by the BJP in the 2017 assembly elections, while the Congress had 40 seats and one seat was won by an independent.
Voting for the first phase is to be held in Gujarat today. In which polling will be held on 89 seats in 19 districts. At the same time, the campaigning for the second phase has intensified. All the political parties are making efforts regarding the election campaign. Whereas today i.e. on December 1, PM Modi is going to hold a big road show in Ahmedabad. This road show will last for 3 hours and will run for 28 kms. This convoy of PM Modi will pass through 5 assembly constituencies of Ahmedabad from 03:30 to 06:30. Apart from this, PM Modi will also address several public meetings today. PM will start his public meeting from Kalol in Panchmahal district of North Gujarat. The place of his public meeting is in Vejalpur village. The second public meeting will be held at Bodeli in Chhota Udepur. The third public meeting will be held at Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha district in the afternoon.

Out of the total 182 seats in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, 89 seats are being voted in the first phase today. Adequate security arrangements have been made for this.
