Gujarat Assembly Election 2022: CRPF jawan posted on election duty shot two colleagues

Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed and two others injured when their colleague opened fire over an issue in a village near Porbandar in Gujarat, officials said. These jawans belong to the CRPF battalion of Manipur.
Porbandar collector and district election officer AM Sharma said he was sent here by the Election Commission ahead of the Gujarat assembly elections next month. Porbandar district will go to polls in the first phase on December 1. They were staying inside a cyclone center at Tukda Gosa village, about 25 km from Porbandar.
Elections will be held in two phases in Gujarat. In the first phase, voting will be held on December 1, while in the second phase, voting will be held on December 5. The results will be declared on 8 December. At present, the state is ruled by the BJP and Bhupendra Patel is the Chief Minister. The BJP is trying its best to win the assembly elections this time. Its main competition is with the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party.
