Gold rate shoots up, sets fresh all-time high record

Gold once again on Friday broke all its previous record and set new all-time high record. Gold is at its highest level of Rs 61739 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 77251 per kg. Before today, the all time high price of gold was Rs 61646 per 10 grams which it made yesterday i.e. on Thursday.

According to the website of the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), today (5 May 2023), on Wednesday, gold (Gold Price Today) became costlier by Rs 93 per ten grams and is trading at Rs 61739 per ten grams. Whereas on Thursday, on the last trading day, gold became costlier by Rs 602 and closed at Rs 61646 per 10 grams.
On Friday, along with gold, the price of silver also registered a rise. Today silver is trading at a level of Rs 77251 per kg with a gain of Rs 787. Whereas on Thursday, on the last trading day, silver had become costlier by Rs 1182 and closed at Rs 76464 per kg.
Gold-silver rates on MCX
Unlike the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), gold is trading down on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today. On MCX, gold became cheaper by Rs 24 per 10 grams at Rs 61,469, while silver was trading at Rs 78,200 with a gain of Rs 162.

In this way, on Friday, 24 carat gold became costlier by Rs 61739 per 10 gram, 23 carat gold by Rs 61492 per 10 gram, 22 carat gold by Rs 56552 per 10 gram, 18 carat gold by Rs 46304 per 10 gram and 14 carat gold by approx. Is trading at the level of Rs 36117 per 10 grams.
Gold and silver in the international market
Unlike the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are trading with a decline in the international market today. In the US market, gold was trading down by $4.01 at $2,045.90 an ounce and silver was down by $0.07 at $26.00 an ounce.
