Gold and Silver Rates Today On September 29: After an increase in the gold rate the previous day, the gold price today in India has slightly decreased.

On Sunday, September 29, the gold price today for 22-carat is priced at Rs 70,950 per 10 grams while the gold price for 24-carat today stands at Rs 77,400 per 10 grams.

The 22-carat gold rate has increased by Rs 50 compared to the previous day’s price while the 24-carat gold rates also went up by Rs 50 in the last 24 hours.

The 22-carat gold rate per gram is priced at Rs 7,118 and the 24-carat gold rate today is valued at Rs 7,763 per gram.

The silver rate today in India stands at Rs 95,000, the silver rate has been increased by Rs 1,000 in the last 24 hours.

The gold and silver prices keep on fluctuating as it is highly influenced by demand and supply, geopolitical factors taxes and many others.

When the demand is higher than the supply, the gold and silver rate also increases, On the other hand when the supply is higher than its demand, the gold and silver rate decreases.

Similar things happen with taxes, when the tax rate on gold increases, the gold and silver rates also increase or vice versa.

Earlier in July, when the government reduced the excise duty taxes on gold from 15% to 6%, the gold and silver rates went down by Rss 4,000.
