Gold and Silver Rates Today On October 12: After a decrease in gold rate the previous day, the gold price today in India has increased slightly.

On Saturday, October 12, the 22-carat gold price today is priced at Rs 70,960 per gram while the 24-carat gold price today is valued at Rs 77,410 per 10 grams.

The gold rate today for 22-carat today has increased by Rs 710 in the last 24 hours while the gold rate for 24-carat went down by Rs 770 compared to the previous day's price.

On Friday, October 11, the 22-carat gold rate yesterday was priced at Rs 70,250 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate in India stood at Rs 76,640 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, the gold rate for 22-carat per gram stands at Rs 7,116 and the gold price for 24-carat is valued at Rs 7,761 per gram.

The silver rate today in India is valued at Rs 96,100 per kilogram, the silver price has increased by Rs 2,100 compared to the previous day’s price.

The last big fluctuation in gold and silver rates was noted in July after the announcement of the Union Budget by the Indian government.

The Union Budget which was introduced on the 23rd of July reduced the excise duty taxes which are imposed on gold and silver rate from 15% to 6%, this caused the gold rate in India to decline by Rs 4,000 on the next day.
