Gold and Silver Rates Today On October 10: After staying unchanged in the gold rate the previous day, the gold price today in India has decreased.

On Thursday, October 10, the 22-carat gold price today is priced at Rs 70,300 per gram while the 24-carat gold price today is valued at Rs 76,690 per 10 grams.

The gold rate today for 22-carat today has decreased by Rs 700 in the last 24 hours while the gold rate for 24-carat went down by Rs 760 compared to the previous day's price.

On Wednesday, October 9, the 22-carat gold rate yesterday was priced at Rs 71,000 per 10 grams while the 24-carat gold rate in India stood at Rs 77,450 per 10 grams.

Meanwhile, the gold rate for 22-carat per gram stands at Rs 7,116 and the gold price for 24-carat is valued at Rs 7,761 per gram.

The silver rate today in India is valued at Rs 94,900 per kilogram, the silver price has decreased by Rs 2,000 compared to the previous day’s price.

In MCX, the gold futures expiring on December 2024 were trading at Rs 74,967 per 10 gm while the silver futures in MCX maturing on December 2024 were increased by Rs 103 and were trading at Rs 88,975 per kg.

The last big fluctuation in gold and silver rates was noted in July after the announcement of the Union Budget by the Indian government.

The Union Budget which was introduced on the 23rd of July reduced the excise duty taxes which are imposed on gold and silver rate from 15% to 6%, this caused the gold rate in India to decline by Rs 4,000 on the next day.
