On August 6, the 22-carat gold price stood at Rs Rs 64,700 per 10 grams while 24-carat gold today in India cost Rs 70,580 per, 10 grams.

Meanwhile, the 22-carat gold price per gram today is valued at Rs 6,469 and the 2-carat gold price today stood at Rs 7,057 per gram.

The silver price today in India stands at Rs 85,500 per kilogram, the price has remained constant in the last 24 hours.

In MCX, the gold futures contracts retiring on October 4, 2024, are trading at Rs 70,412 per 10 grams. The price has increased by Rs 623 or 0.89% from its previous close.

The silver futures in the MCX maturing on September 5, 2024, with a jump of Rs 851 or 1.03% are trading at Rs 83,344 per kg.
