Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit to be held in Gandhinagar from April 20 to April 22

The Ministry of AYUSH has officially announced its most relevant event for 2022 – the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit (GAIIS). The event will be held from 20 to 22 April 2022 in Gandhinagar, the capital of Gujarat. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will also participate in this.

Information has been shared by the Ministry of AYUSH that the Global AYUSH Investment and Innovation Summit to be held at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar will be inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 20 April 2022. The three-day summit will see participation from industry leaders, academia. Along with this, eminent scholars will deliberate on ways to promote traditional medicines and systems.

One of the objectives of the summit is to attract lucrative investments to make India a major center of global AYUSH in the world. In recent years, India has seen huge investments due to the absence of foreign direct investment (FDI) restrictions. Ministry of AYUSH intends to use this platform to launch goal-oriented initiatives to enable identification and development of traditional medicine systems.
