Lucknow's Mohd Sufiyan Pushes Hindu Girlfriend Nidhi Gupta From Building As She Refused To Covert To Islam, Girl Dies

Lucknow: A Hindu girl, Nidhi Gupta pushed off the 4th floor of a building by Mohd Sufiyan for opposing conversion to Islam. She was rushed to the hospital where she died Sufiyan, accused of throwing the girl from the fourth floor in Lucknow, has been caught by the police in an encounter. He has a bullet wound in his right leg. He has been admitted to the trauma center of KGMU. On Friday morning itself, a reward of 25 thousand was announced on behalf of the Police Commissioner on Sufiyan.

Sufiyan and his family were absconding since the incident on Tuesday night. This morning the police got information that he was in Dubagga. After this the police team led by ACP Kakori DK Singh cordoned off the area. Seeing himself surrounded, Sufiyan opened fire on the police. The police also fired back, injuring him.

Accused Sufiyan was arrested following a Police encounter. He has been admitted to KGMU trauma centre after sustaining a bullet injury in his leg. He was carrying a reward of Rs 25,000 on his head.

According to the complaint lodged by the family with the police, Nidhi Gupta (19), a resident of Dubagga, and Sufiyan had a love affair. When the girl's family came to know about this, they reached Sufiyan's house to protest and complained. Sufiyan reached the fourth floor of the building to kill the girl's maternal uncle. The maternal uncle of the girl also went behind. Sufiyan was about to attack Mama by holding his collar when Nidhi reached there. When Nidhi reaches there, Sufiyaan pushed her.

The girl's maternal uncle Ravi Gupta tried to catch Sufiyan, but he pushed them and fled. Nidhi was lying soaked in blood when she looked down. Immediately taken to the hospital. Where he died during treatment. Nidhi's family alleges that Sufiyan was pressurizing their daughter to change her religion.

Parents of Nidhi Gupta told the media that Mohd Sufiyan was brainwashing her to convert to his religion; she used to be in a relationship with him, had accepted a mobile phone as gift but had begun to distance lately. Besides murder, Sufiyan has been booked for forced conversion
