Ghatkopar Billboard Collapse Accused Bhavesh Bhinde Arrested: Bhavesh Bhinde who is the director of M/s Ego Media Pvt. Ltd, an advertising agency whose billboard collapsed at Ghatkopar leading to the deaths of 16 people and 75 injured was arrested on Thursday by the Police.
After his billboard collapsed, Bhavesh Bhinde left the state in a car with his driver and changed his location frequently, but he wasn’t able to be found.
At least eight groups of Mumbai cops were sent to different places to look for him. Police got information that he had changed his location from Lonavala, Thane, and Ahmedabad.
But then, he got arrested in Udaipur, Rajasthan after 3 days of search, and now along with the accused Bhavesh Bhinde the police have arrived at Mumbai On Friday Morning after a short stop at Ahmedabad.

Bhavesh Bhinde, the director of an advertising agency on Monday put up a billboard at Ghatkopar which due to heavy wind flow collapsed in the Chhedanagar area and hit a nearby gas pump.

As per the police reports, a case was filed under the IPC of intentional killing not amounting to murder on Bhavesh Bhinde and all the heads and workers of Ego Media Company.
Earlier, this incident brought up warnings from a famous author Amitav Ghosh many years ago about how dangerous signs can be during cyclonic conditions.
In his book "The Great Derangement: Climate Change and the Unthinkable," Amitav Ghosh, who is known for both fictional and non-fictional works that focus on environmental problems, warned that during cyclones Mumbai's billboards would become "deadly projectiles."
According to the police reports, the accused Bhavesh Bhinde is soon expected to be put in front of the court against his guilt.
