Gehlot gave instructions to provide quick relief in the rain-affected areas
An official spokesperson said that Gehlot is serious about relief and rescue in the situations arising out of heavy rains in Jodhpur district and is monitoring relief operations in the entire state including Jodhpur.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has directed the district administrative officers to provide all possible and speedy relief to the rain-affected areas of the state. He has asked the officials to intensify the disaster management activities by giving top priority to relief work.
It is noteworthy that incessant rains have affected life in many areas including Jodhpur division of Rajasthan while traffic was affected due to water-logging on roads and railway tracks at many places, many trains have been canceled in Jodhpur division.
He said that the Chief Minister directed the district administration to exercise caution in view of the heavy rains in Jodhpur district. In view of the heavy rains, the District Magistrate, Jodhpur declared a holiday on 26, 27 and 28 July in all government and private schools. Gehlot is in Delhi these days.
