Gardener demands 44 days wages from PM Modi, special invitation was received on Republic Day
Nandan, a resident of Niwari district of Madhya Pradesh, was greeted by Prime Minister Modi by going close to the farm and shook hands, due to which he is very happy. The 44-year-old gardener said, "I felt fortunate to be a part of the ceremony. I never thought I would be chosen among the special guests."

This time many workers were specially invited and made to sit in the first line of the audience gallery to watch the Republic Day parade. Several workers and laborers engaged in the construction work of the Central Vista project and maintenance activities of the duty path in and around India Gate were provided special passes to participate in the parade. Sukh Nandan was also a gardener by one of these professions. Sukh Nandan was very happy to see PM Modi (Gardener Demands to PM Modi) closely, but he has now made a special appeal to the PM.

Nandan lives in a makeshift tent near India Gate with his wife and two children. The gardener said that I have a copy of the attendance register which proves that I was present on those 44 days, yet the contractor is not ready to pay my salary. Nandan said that I have also now refused to return the brush cutter to the contractor and told him that I will not return the brush cutter until he clears my dues.
