Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: Ganeshotsav is being celebrated with pomp across the country

The ten-day Ganeshotsav has begun. Ganesh Puja is being celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. Due to Corona, this festival was not being celebrated in such a public way for two years. This time there is a lot of happiness among the people. Crowds of devotees are seen in the puja pandals.

It is believed that on the Chaturthi date of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month, Vidnaharta and Mangalmurti Lord Ganesha were born. For this reason it has a special place in all Chaturthi. From today onwards, worship of Ganesh idols will be started in every house and in big pandals. The Ganeshotsav will last for 10 days. President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the countrymen on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde performed Ganpati Puja on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that I wish all the citizens of the state a Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. In the last 2 years there were many restrictions due to Covid. But this year people are celebrating Ganesh Utsav with great enthusiasm and devotion.
