Today the 153rd birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi is being celebrated in the country. On this occasion, President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Interim President of Congress Sonia Gandhi paid tribute to Bapu at Rajghat. During this, PM Modi also offered flowers at the samadhi site of Bapu.

Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge reached Rajghat on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. During this, he paid tribute to Bapu by laying flowers at his Samadhi.
