G7 Summit: PM arrives in Germany to participate in the summit meeting of G-7 countries

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Germany to attend the G-7 summit. This meeting is being held under the chairmanship of Germany. In this, the heads of seven powerful countries of the world will participate.
PM Modi was given a grand welcome on his arrival in Munich, Germany. He was accorded a special welcome at the airport amidst the tunes of the Bavarian band.
PM Modi tweeted, 'I look forward to fruitful discussions with world leaders during the summit.' The G-7 summit, to be held on 26 and 27 June, will discuss important global challenges including the Ukraine-Russia war, the situation in the Indo-Pacific, food and energy security, climate. Apart from this, PM Modi will also separately meet the top leaders attending the conference. PM Modi will also interact with the people of the Indian community during his visit to Germany.
Before leaving for Delhi, PM Modi said, 'I will visit Schloss Elmau in Germany at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the G7 summit under the German Presidency. It would be a pleasure to meet the Chancellor of Germany during the visit.
The G-7 group is a grouping of the world's seven richest countries, currently headed by Germany. The group includes Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the United States. Countries like Argentina, Indonesia, Senegal, South Africa have also been invited. US President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macro, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and many other top leaders are participating in this meeting.
