G20 presidency an opportunity for India to show its potential to the world, PM Modi at all-party meeting said

G20 presidency an opportunity for India to show its potential to the world, PM Modi at all-party meeting said

India's G20 chairmanship is for the entire nation, it is a unique opportunity to show its strength to the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed these views in an all-party meeting here on Monday. PM Modi said that India's G20 presidency has brought huge opportunities for tourism and local economy. On this occasion, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of teamwork and sought cooperation from all in organizing various G-20 events.

The Prime Minister said that the chairmanship of the G-20 will help showcase parts of India beyond the traditional megacities, bringing out the uniqueness of different regions of the country. On India assuming the chairmanship of the G-20, a group of 20 major economies of the world, Prime Minister Modi said that today there is global curiosity and attraction towards India, which further enhances the importance of the occasion, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. Emphasized the importance of 'team work' and sought cooperation from all leaders in organizing various G-20 events. Modi said that the chairmanship of the G-20 would help in showcasing different parts of India, bringing out the uniqueness of different regions of the country.

According to the statement, leaders of other parties, including Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Jaganmohan Reddy of the YSR Congress, Sitaram Yechury of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), N Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party and MK Stalin of the DMK, also participated. Addressed the meeting. According to the statement, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also attended the meeting. A detailed presentation was also given detailing the aspects of India's G-20 priorities. Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, S Jaishankar, Piyush Goyal, Prahlad Joshi and Bhupendra Yadav also attended the meeting.
