G20 presidency an opportunity for India to show its potential to the world, PM Modi at all-party meeting said

India's G20 chairmanship is for the entire nation, it is a unique opportunity to show its strength to the world. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed these views in an all-party meeting here on Monday. PM Modi said that India's G20 presidency has brought huge opportunities for tourism and local economy. On this occasion, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of teamwork and sought cooperation from all in organizing various G-20 events.

The Prime Minister said that the chairmanship of the G-20 will help showcase parts of India beyond the traditional megacities, bringing out the uniqueness of different regions of the country. On India assuming the chairmanship of the G-20, a group of 20 major economies of the world, Prime Minister Modi said that today there is global curiosity and attraction towards India, which further enhances the importance of the occasion, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. Emphasized the importance of 'team work' and sought cooperation from all leaders in organizing various G-20 events. Modi said that the chairmanship of the G-20 would help in showcasing different parts of India, bringing out the uniqueness of different regions of the country.

A large number of visitors are expected to visit India during various events throughout the year, Modi stressed on promoting tourism and boosting the local economy of the places where the G-20 meetings will be held. In the statement It has been said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Mamata Banerjee of Trinamool Congress (TMC), Naveen Patnaik of Biju Janata Dal (BJD) addressed the meeting.

According to the statement, leaders of other parties, including Arvind Kejriwal of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Jaganmohan Reddy of the YSR Congress, Sitaram Yechury of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M), N Chandrababu Naidu of the Telugu Desam Party and MK Stalin of the DMK, also participated.
