There has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel even today i.e. on 10th April. The prices have remained stable for almost 10 months. Petrol in Delhi costs Rs 96.72, while diesel is being sold at Rs 89.62 per litre.

There is a slight drop in the crude oil price today. It is made at $ 85 per barrel.
No change in prices after May 2022
The last time petrol-diesel prices were changed in May 2022. Then excise duty was reduced by Rs 8 on petrol and Rs 6 per liter on diesel. Due to this, the prices of petrol and diesel were reduced by Rs 9.5 and Rs 7 respectively. In July 2022, the Maharashtra government had cut VAT on petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 3 per litre.
Petrol above 100 in 16 states
Petrol is above Rs 100 per liter in 16 states of the country. Petrol has reached Rs 100 in all districts of Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Manipur, Telangana, Punjab, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Odisha, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. On the other hand, if we talk about diesel, it has gone above 100 rupees in Odisha, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
8 rupees reduction in CNG and 5 rupees in PNG
After the approval of the new formula for fixing the price of natural gas in the country, now the companies have started reducing the prices of CNG-PNG. On April 8, the price of CNG was cut by Rs 8.13 per kg and that of PNG by Rs 5.06 per cubic centimeter. Now CNG in Delhi has come down to Rs 73.59 per kg and PNG to Rs 47.59 per unit. At the same time, CNG is being sold at Rs 79 per kg and PNG at Rs 49 per unit in Mumbai.
