Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's 31st death anniversary is on Saturday. On this occasion, Congress Interim President Sonia Gandhi and National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi paid tribute to him by visiting his graveyard 'Veer Bhoomi'.
Rajiv Gandhi was born on 20 August 1944 in Mumbai. He was married to Sonia Gandhi in 1968. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are his children. Rajiv Gandhi was killed in a bomb blast in Sriperumbudur on 12 May 1991.
PM Modi has also paid tribute to Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary.
