Former President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf passed away

Former President of Pakistan General Pervez Musharraf has passed away after a prolonged illness. He was admitted in a hospital in Dubai for a long time. He had many diseases including heart and age related. He was the one who conspired the Kargil war against India in the year 1999. While Musharraf was the army chief, he had also declared martial law in a coup in Pakistan.

General Pervez Musharraf was suffering from many serious diseases for a long time. He was undergoing treatment in Dubai since March 2016. He was on ventilator for a long time. Even before this, his death had been rumored many times.

Pervez Musharraf was born on 11 August 1943 in Delhi, the capital of India. Musharraf's family had shifted from India to Pakistan in 1947, a few days before the partition. There his father worked for the new government formed after the formation of new Pakistan and he joined the Ministry of External Affairs there.
