Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan arrested in corruption case

New Delhi: Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and PTI chief Imran Khan was arrested on Tuesday by the Rangers. He was taken into the custody from outside the Islamabad High Court, reported Pakistan’s Dawn News.
The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Khan had appeared in the court in the Alqadir Trust case from where he was arrested.
Musarrat Cheema, the PTI leader, in a video message on Twitter, said: “They are torturing Imran Khan right now […] they are beating Khan sahib. They have done something with Khan sahib.”
