Former India U19 Captain Unmukt Chand Misses Selection in USA Squad

Former India U19 Captain Unmukt Chand Misses Selection in USA Squad: In Houston, Texas, the Prairie View Cricket Complex (PVCC) will host all USA matches during the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup.
It has been revealed that former India Under-19 skipper Unmukt Chand has not been selected for the United States of America (USA) squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against Canada, which is set to begin in Houston on 7 April.
The USA's Minor League Cricket has seen Chand do well with the bat. He has scored over 1500 runs in 45 innings, making him the second-highest run scorer in its history. Although he played for the Los Angeles Knight Riders in Major League Cricket, he only scored 68 runs in four matches.
Earlier this month, Harmeet Singh, who represented India at the Under-19 World Cup in 2010 and 2012, was included in the USA's 15-member squad for the five-match T20I series against Canada, which begins on April 7.
Corey Anderson, a former New Zealand international who played in the MiLC last year, joined the squad. He scored 900 runs in 28 innings, with a strike rate of 146. Monank Patel will lead the squad, while Aaron Jones will serve as his deputy.
