Former Haryana CM's son Kuldeep Bishnoi left Congress and joined BJP

Kuldeep Bishnoi, son of former Haryana CM Bhajan Lal, left the Congress and joined the BJP on Thursday. The Congress MLA had resigned from the Haryana Assembly on Wednesday. The Congress removed Bishnoi from all party posts after he did 'cross-voting' in the Rajya Sabha elections held in June. The sitting MLA from Adampur Bishnoi (53) submitted his resignation to the Speaker Gyanchand Gupta.

After the resignation of Bishnoi, now a by-election will have to be held in Adampur seat of Hisar district. His son Bhavya Bishnoi has also left the Congress. He contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Hisar seat, in which he had to face defeat. In recent weeks, Kuldeep Bishnoi has held meetings with top BJP leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and showered praises on them, indicating that he is giving the Congress a go. are about to say goodbye.

Kuldeep Bishnoi after formally parting ways with Congress said, "I am joining BJP as a common worker and I hope that all my supporters, be it in Haryana, Rajasthan or Punjab areas, They will fully respect it." He said, "I have taken this decision keeping in mind the sentiments of myself and my supporters."

After resigning, Bishnoi challenged Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda to contest from Adampur. "Hooda had challenged me that Kuldeep Bishnoi (before joining BJP) should resign first. I now challenge him, who has been Chief Minister for 10 years, to contest against me or my son in Adampur.
