Fodder scam convict Lalu Yadav sentenced to 5 years in Jail
Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Yadav, who was convicted in the illegal withdrawal case from Doranda Treasury, was today sentenced to 5 years in jail by a special CBI court. 60 lakh fine has been imposed. According to estimates, the sentence was announced today at around 2 pm on Monday. Apart from Lalu Yadav, 37 other convicts have also been sentenced in this big case of fodder scam.

CBI Judge SK Shashi sentenced these convicts. Before this, all the convicts appeared in the online court. Lalu Prasad Yadav is currently undergoing treatment at Ranchi Rims.
Lalu Yadav sentenced to five years in prison and 60 lakhs fine
In this fodder scam case, the CBI court has sentenced a total of 40 convicts. Those people to whom the warrant was issued also reached the court today. The biggest thing about this decision is that the maximum punishment has been given for five years and the maximum fine is two crore rupees. Lalu Prasad Yadav, Mohammad Sayeed, RK Rana and Tripurari Mohan Prasad are included in the list of those with maximum punishment. At the same time, the culprit who has been imposed the maximum fine is Tripurari Mohan Prasad.
