Flood water filled 1700 villages, government school bus stuck in flood in Karnataka
At the same time, a government school bus got stuck in water due to heavy rains in Dharwad district of Karnataka. About 150 children were on the bus. With the help of teachers and local people, all the children were safely evacuated from the bus.

Due to rain in Assam and Meghalaya, there is a flood like situation in 1700 villages. Due to which about 16 people have died so far.
Due to heavy rains in Assam for the last 3-4 days, people's problems have increased. About 25 districts of the state are in the grip of floods, affecting more than 11 lakh people. Officials said the water level of Brahmaputra, Gaurang, Kopili, Manas and Pagladiya rivers were above the danger mark in many parts of the state. There is a rain alert in Assam till June 17.
About 19,782.80 hectares of crop land have been submerged in water due to floods in Assam. According to state government data, 1,510 villages under 72 revenue circles are under water. In view of the situation, the administration has appealed to the people to stay in their homes. Officials say that unless there is an emergency, avoid stepping out of the houses. Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor and director Rohit Shetty have donated Rs 5 lakh to the CM Relief Fund to help the flood-affected people.
