Five feet long snake found at Union Home Minister Amit Shah's residence

There was panic in the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah when a five-feet long snake was seen by the security personnel. When the security personnel hurriedly called the Wildlife SOS, they caught hold of the snake and took it under control. According to SOS personnel, a snake was reported at the government residence on Krishna Manon Marg on Thursday morning.
The personnel told that the snake was hidden in a wooden crack in the room of the security personnel. From where the personnel took them out after hard work. According to the SOS, the snake caught is five feet long and is of checkered keelback species. Such snakes are mainly found in water bodies like lakes, rivers and ponds, drains, agricultural land, wells etc. The species is protected under Schedule 2 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972.
